Time is Money- Literally

We have all heard the phrase, now it’s a movie.

So it’s official :time = money!

This looks good, I don’t care if it’s got Justin Timberlake in it.  The premise: in the future, time is the only currency, no one ages past 25, once your “time” runs out, you’re done.  The rich look 25, but can basically live forever.  The poor don’t make it much past their 25th birthday.

It is such a simple concept, I am kind of jealous that I didn’t come up with it myself.  The trailers are intriguing; I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

What would you do if you had all the time in the world?  What if, instead of working for money, you were working for time?  How would that affect your work ethic?  Career choice?

  1. In one of the trailers, J. Timberlake and his uniquely attractive cohort are stealing time and handing it out to the people in a Robin Hood-ian mass “wealth” re-distribution. Timely, considering what is going on with the Occupy Wall Street movement. At least I think so. From what I have gathered. I actually can’t tell what exactly is going on there, so if anyone could tell me, I would be much obliged.
